DeKalb County, GA
Stonecrest’s general contractor
Stonecrest is at the southeastern edge of DeKalb, with newer development than the areas inside the perimeter.
The houses in Stonecrest
Mostly newer subdivision construction where the projects are finish updates, flooring and basement completion.

Inside the perimeter the houses are older and smaller, and the work is usually about making an existing footprint function better rather than adding to it.
We are based in Roswell, which puts Stonecrest comfortably inside our working radius. Stonecrest sits in DeKalb County, and the rest of that county is on the county page.
What we do in Stonecrest
Eight categories, forty-six services, all of it available here.

How we work
The idea behind the company came from what Igor Dubovoy saw at his previous employer, a remodeler pushing out about five hundred jobs a month. The faster the work moved, the worse it got. After twenty years in the trade, he founded SSRGA in 2021 to beat that kind of operation on quality instead of trying to match its volume.
We are not the biggest shop in the north metro and have no interest in being. Fewer jobs at a time is the whole point.
How a job actually runs
A walkthrough, not a sales call
We start by looking at the space together. You tell us what is bothering you about it and what you want instead; we tell you what is realistic, what it takes, and where the money actually goes.
Demo, then an honest conversation
Once things are open we can see the framing, the substrate and whatever the last crew left behind. Anything we find gets shown to you with a plan attached, not buried under new drywall.
The build, run on a schedule you can see
Same crew, predictable days, the space swept before we leave. Remodeling is disruptive enough without wondering whether anyone is showing up.

Every city we cover is on the service areas page.
How scope drives cost
Two versions of the same project can differ enormously depending on choices that have nothing to do with what you can see at the end.
The big costs come from moving fixtures, altering structure or adding square footage. Finish choices count too, just much less than most people expect.
We will lay out where those decision points are for your project, including where spending more genuinely buys you something and where it does not.
Seeing more of it
Every photograph on this site is a job we did. There are a lot more of them on the gallery page, sorted by the kind of work, including the construction stages most portfolios leave out.
The permitting side
We handle permits and inspections as part of the job rather than treating them as your problem.
The rules here are not uniform. Six counties means six sets of requirements, and on top of that individual cities within them have their own. We work out what applies before design gets far.
Inspections are useful. They catch exactly the details that cause failures later, and an inspector looking at a ledger connection or a rough electrical run is a second set of eyes we are happy to have.

What it is like to have us here
Predictable hours, the same faces, and a site that gets cleaned before we leave. Floor protection and dust barriers go in before work starts.
You will know who is coming and roughly when. If a subcontractor is on site for a day, you will know that in advance too.
Questions get answered directly. There is no chain of communication to work through, because the person doing the work is the person you have been talking to since the walkthrough.
What we specify and why
Material choice is where a lot of remodeling money gets wasted, in both directions. Paying for the top of a product line rarely doubles its life, and buying the cheapest version of something structural almost always costs more within a decade.
Our general rule is to spend on the things that are expensive to replace and moderate on the things that are easy. Substrate, waterproofing, framing hardware and anything buried gets the good version, because reaching it again means demolition. Fixtures, finishes and hardware are swappable later, so those follow your budget and your taste rather than ours.
We will tell you where a cheaper option is genuinely fine. There are plenty of places in a house where the mid-grade product and the premium one come off the same line.
After we finish
The end of the job includes a walkthrough where we go over what was done and what it needs from you, which is usually not much.
The parts worth attention are the wet joints, the exterior drainage and anything that moves. Everything else is built to be left alone.
If something needs looking at later, call. Knowing what is behind the finish is worth something, and we do.
Where this is
Questions people ask
How long does a project like this take?
Ask us after the walkthrough and you will get a straight number of weeks. Before that, anyone quoting you a timeline is guessing. As a rough guide, a single bathroom is a few weeks of work and a full home remodel takes months, and we keep you posted if the dates move.
Who is actually on site?
Igor is. He spent twenty years in the trade and still works the jobs himself, alongside a crew that stays with your project until it is done.
What happens if you find something unexpected?
It happens, especially in older homes. When it does, you get photos and a plan from us the day we find it, and the wall stays open until you know what is behind it.
Will we be able to live in the house during the work?
Usually, if the work is limited to one room. Whole-house remodels and big additions are a different story, and Igor will give you a straight answer at the walkthrough about whether moving out makes sense.
How do we get started?
Tell us a little about the project by phone at (678) 665-7771 or through the contact page, and we will schedule a walkthrough. It is free, and what you decide afterward is entirely up to you.
Do you handle permits?
Yes, wherever the job calls for them. We file the paperwork and meet the inspectors. Additions, structural work and most relocated plumbing or electrical all go through permitting with us.
Let us come look at your Stonecrest project
The first step is a conversation at your house. Book it at (678) 665-7771 or through the contact page. Igor will look at what you have and talk through what you want, then give you an honest sense of the scope. We keep the workload small enough that he can be on site for all of it.
