Trailer Bathroom Remodel done properly
Most trailer bathroom remodels turn into floor repairs, because that is what has actually failed.
What this work involves
The pattern is consistent: a slow leak at the toilet or the tub drain that has been going for years, and a floor that is soft over an area much larger than anyone expected once the finish comes up.

So we plan for it. The finish comes up, the extent of the damage gets established, and the subfloor is repaired properly before anything new goes down. Putting new vinyl over a soft floor is a waste of both our time.
Once the floor is sound, the rest is a normal bathroom remodel done with fixtures that suit the structure.
The sequence on a job like this
- Full demolition and honest assessment of the floor structure
- Subfloor repair or replacement over the affected area
- Plumbing corrected, including the leak that caused the damage
- Fixtures sized for manufactured housing, waterproofing, finishes and trim

What we look at before quoting trailer bathroom remodel
Every trailer bathroom remodel job starts the same way: we look at what the new work has to sit on. Once the floor is sound, the rest is a normal bathroom remodel done with fixtures that suit the structure.
Most cost overruns trace back to something that could have been spotted before work began. That is why we take our time at the walkthrough and ask the awkward questions then.
Worth knowing
The thing that usually goes wrong
New flooring laid over a soft subfloor. It feels the same underfoot within a month.
You can only see about a third of a finished remodel. The rest is behind drywall and under tile, and that hidden two thirds is what decides whether the visible third still looks right in ten years. It is also where corners get cut, because nobody is going to check.
Catching this early is what the walkthrough is for, and it is free. Call (678) 665-7771 or contact us here, and Igor will come out and give you a straight read on what you are looking at.

What moves the number on a job like this
Prices are not on this site, and that is on purpose. A remodel number depends on the house, and we have not seen yours yet. The useful thing we can share now is which decisions move the total the most.
Moving plumbing or electrical is the big one. Fixtures staying where they are keeps a job contained; relocating a drain or running a new circuit means opening walls, floors or ceilings and pulling the trades back in.
After that it is condition and materials, in that order. What we find behind the finishes affects the schedule more than any product selection does, and a house that has been well maintained costs less to work on than one that has not.
How we think about materials
There is a version of every product at three price points and the differences are not always where the marketing says. Some of it is genuine performance and some of it is finish options.
Spend where it is hard to get back to. Waterproofing, subfloor and the pipe inside the wall are expensive to replace because the finished room has to come apart first. Things you can unscrew and change in an afternoon are a matter of what you like.
That means we sometimes talk clients out of upgrades. If a mid-range fixture performs the same as the expensive one, we would rather that money went into the part of the job nobody sees.

Timeline and disruption
Remodeling is disruptive, and pretending otherwise helps nobody. What we can control is whether it is predictable.
You get a schedule with real dates, the same crew throughout, and a heads up when anything shifts. Materials are ordered ahead of demolition so waiting happens before your house is open rather than during.
The site gets swept at the end of each day and dust control goes up before the work starts, not after somebody complains.
Looking after the work
A finished remodel is not maintenance free, but the list is short and most of it is easy.
Look at the shower and tub sealant every so often and replace it when it cracks. Make sure gutters and downspouts are flowing. Keep the bath fan and any filters clean, and that covers most of it.
We cover all of that before we leave, so none of it is yours to figure out alone. If anything gives you doubts later, we would much prefer hearing from you to finding out you have been living with it.
Questions people ask
Why does this always become a floor job?
Because a slow leak at the toilet or tub has usually been going for years by the time the finish comes up, and the soft area is larger than anyone expects.
Can you just replace the flooring?
We would rather not. New vinyl over a soft subfloor feels the same underfoot within a month, and then the whole job has to happen again.
Is remodeling a mobile home different?
Structurally, yes. Wall thickness, framing spacing and plumbing runs are all different from site-built houses, and fixtures sized for a standard house often will not fit.
Do you handle permits?
Yes, wherever the job calls for them. We file the paperwork and meet the inspectors. Additions, structural work and most relocated plumbing or electrical all go through permitting with us.
What happens if you find something unexpected?
We stop and show you, the same day, with photos and our plan for fixing it. Nothing goes back behind drywall until you know what is there.
Who is actually on site?
The same crew, and Igor is on the job rather than running it from a truck somewhere else. That is the difference a smaller shop can offer.

A phone call to (678) 665-7771 is the quickest way in, or send a message through the contact page. Igor comes to the house himself. He will talk through layout and finishes with you and tell you straight what the job involves. You will not be handed off to a new team halfway through, which counts for a lot when your bathroom is out of service.
