Bathroom Remodeling
Mirror Installation done properly
Large mirrors are heavier than they look and the wall behind them usually is not ready.
What this work involves
A framed mirror over a vanity is a straightforward hang if it lands on studs. Wide mirrors rarely do, and glass over about thirty pounds should not be hanging on drywall anchors.

When a bathroom is already open we put blocking in behind the mirror wall as a matter of course. When it is not, we locate what framing exists and use a cleat spanning studs rather than relying on the wall itself.
Frameless and backlit mirrors add a wrinkle: backlit units need power at the right height, which means the electrical goes in before the wall closes if the timing allows.
The sequence on a job like this
- Framing located, blocking or a cleat added where the mirror needs it
- Power roughed in for backlit units before the wall closes where possible
- Mirror set level and secured to structure, not to drywall
- Trim, caulk and any surrounding tile made good

What we look at before quoting mirror installation
Every mirror installation job starts the same way: we look at what the new work has to sit on. Frameless and backlit mirrors add a wrinkle: backlit units need power at the right height, which means the electrical goes in before the wall closes if the timing allows.
Checking it up front is what keeps the price stable. If something is going to complicate the job, we want to see it on the walkthrough, when it costs a conversation, and not weeks into demolition.
Worth knowing
The thing that usually goes wrong
A heavy mirror on drywall anchors over a tiled vanity. When it goes, it takes the backsplash with it.
You can only see about a third of a finished remodel. The rest is behind drywall and under tile, and that hidden two thirds is what decides whether the visible third still looks right in ten years. It is also where corners get cut, because nobody is going to check.

Where we do this work
We cover six counties out of Roswell: Fulton, Cobb, Cherokee, Forsyth, Gwinnett and DeKalb. That includes Alpharetta, GA, Marietta, GA and Woodstock, GA, and thirty-nine other cities listed on the service areas page.
Have a look at the gallery for finished work, or call (678) 665-7771 and we will come out.
Where the money actually goes
You will get a full cost breakdown when we come out, and no quote before that. Pricing a remodel from a phone call means guessing, and you would end up holding a figure that falls apart once we see the house.
The largest variable is almost always whether things move. Keeping the layout keeps the mechanical work small. Changing it means drains, vents, circuits and often framing.
After layout, the next factor is condition behind the walls and under the floors. We do our looking up front, at the walkthrough, so the quote reflects the house you actually have.
Who you will be dealing with
You deal with the same people from the first walkthrough through the final punch list. There is no handoff from a salesperson to a project manager to a crew who have never seen the file.
Igor runs the jobs from the site. If something needs a decision, it gets made by someone standing in the room looking at the actual condition.
We keep the number of simultaneous projects deliberately low. It is the entire reason the company exists and it is not something we are planning to grow out of.

How long this takes
The honest answer is that it depends on scope and on what the house has been hiding, but that is not an excuse for a vague schedule. After the walkthrough you get dates.
We sequence around lead times rather than starting demolition and hoping. If the cabinets are eight weeks out, we do not tear out your kitchen in week one.
When something does change, you hear it from us the day we know. The worst version of a remodel is the one where the homeowner works out the schedule has slipped by noticing nobody showed up.
Keeping it right afterward
Daily wear is rarely what ruins good work. Moisture is. Old caulk that cracks and a fan that only pushes air into the ceiling are both small things, and both add up over a decade.
We walk you through what your specific project needs and how often. Some of it is annual, some of it is once every several years, and most of it takes minutes.
Call us first if anything we built does not seem right. A different contractor would be guessing at what is behind it. We already know, and we would rather look at it than have you live with it.
Questions people ask
Can a big mirror hang on drywall?
Not safely. Anything over about thirty pounds needs to reach framing, either directly or through a cleat spanning studs. Hollow-wall anchors hold until the one time they do not.
Can you add a backlit mirror later?
Yes, but it needs power at the right height. If the wall is open we run it then; retrofitting afterward means opening the wall again.
Can you convert a tub to a walk-in shower?
Yes, and it is one of the more common requests we get. The work involves the drain, the waterproofing and usually some framing, which is why it matters who does it.
Do you handle permits?
We do. Anything that changes structure, adds space or moves most plumbing and electrical needs a permit, and we take care of the application and the inspections so you do not have to.
How do we get started?
Tell us a little about the project by phone at (678) 665-7771 or through the contact page, and we will schedule a walkthrough. It is free, and what you decide afterward is entirely up to you.
How long does a project like this take?
Longer than the TV shows suggest, and shorter than most people fear once it is planned properly. A bathroom generally runs a few weeks. A whole-house remodel runs months. After Igor sees the space you get an actual schedule, and you hear from us the moment anything pushes it.
