Mobile Home Remodeling
Trailer Bathroom Installation done properly
Manufactured housing is built differently, and standard-size fixtures usually will not fit.
What this work involves
Wall framing in a mobile home is typically thinner than site-built, the plumbing runs differently, and the floor structure is a different assembly. A standard tub is often too long and too heavy for the opening and the floor.

Fixtures made for manufactured housing exist and are sized for it. Using them is the difference between a bathroom that fits and one that has been forced in.
The floor almost always needs attention. By the time anyone calls, the area around the toilet and the tub is usually soft, and that gets repaired before any fixture is set.
The sequence on a job like this
- Framing, floor structure and plumbing assessed for what will actually fit
- Soft flooring repaired or replaced before fixtures are set
- Manufactured-housing-rated fixtures where standard units will not work
- Waterproofing, surround, fixtures and trim

What we look at before quoting trailer bathroom installation
Every trailer bathroom installation job starts the same way: we look at what the new work has to sit on. The floor almost always needs attention. By the time anyone calls, the area around the toilet and the tub is usually soft, and that gets repaired before any fixture is set.
A problem found on the walkthrough is a line item. The same problem found after demolition is a delay and a change order. We prefer to find it the first way.
Worth knowing
The thing that usually goes wrong
A site-built tub forced into a mobile home opening. The floor was never designed for the weight and it tells you eventually.
The difference between a remodel that lasts and one that looks fine for two years is almost always in the part nobody photographs. What the tile is set on. Whether the framing was corrected before the drywall went up. Whether the decking under the shingles was replaced or covered over.
If you are unsure about your own situation, call (678) 665-7771 or drop us a line. Igor will come look, at no charge, and tell you honestly how big the job is.

What moves the number on a job like this
Prices are not on this site, and that is on purpose. A remodel number depends on the house, and we have not seen yours yet. The useful thing we can share now is which decisions move the total the most.
Moving plumbing or electrical is the big one. Fixtures staying where they are keeps a job contained; relocating a drain or running a new circuit means opening walls, floors or ceilings and pulling the trades back in.
Then there is the condition of what we are working on. Rot, old repairs and water damage take time to correct, and they shape the job more than finish selections do. Materials come after that.
What the schedule actually looks like
We give you a real schedule after the walkthrough, and we tell you when it moves. Most schedule slippage in remodeling comes from two places: material lead times and things found during demolition.
Lead times we manage by ordering early. Cabinets, windows, specialty tile and anything custom gets ordered before demolition where the sequence allows, so you are not living in a half-finished room waiting on a delivery.
Discovery we manage by budgeting time for it. On any house over about twenty years old, something turns up. Planning as though nothing will is how projects end up months late with everyone frustrated.

What it is like to have us here
Predictable hours, the same faces, and a site that gets cleaned before we leave. Floor protection and dust barriers go in before work starts.
You will know who is coming and roughly when. If a subcontractor is on site for a day, you will know that in advance too.
Questions get answered directly. There is no chain of communication to work through, because the person doing the work is the person you have been talking to since the walkthrough.
Looking after the work
A finished remodel is not maintenance free, but the list is short and most of it is easy.
Check the caulk in showers and around tubs now and then, since that joint flexes more than anything else in the room. Outside, keep gutters and drains clear. Clean filters and vents on anything mechanical.
You get that list from us at handover, specific to your project. If you notice a problem down the road, tell us about it. Living with it is the last thing we want for you.
Questions people ask
Why not a standard tub?
Weight and fit. Mobile home framing and floor structure are different from site-built, and a standard tub is often too long and too heavy for the opening it has to go in.
Will the floor need work?
Usually. By the time anyone calls, the area around the toilet and tub is normally soft, and that gets repaired before any fixture is set.
Is remodeling a mobile home different?
Structurally, yes. Wall thickness, framing spacing and plumbing runs are all different from site-built houses, and fixtures sized for a standard house often will not fit.
Will we be able to live in the house during the work?
Usually, if the work is limited to one room. Whole-house remodels and big additions are a different story, and Igor will give you a straight answer at the walkthrough about whether moving out makes sense.
How do we get started?
Call (678) 665-7771 or send a message through the contact page and we will set up a walkthrough. It costs nothing and there is no pressure attached to it.
What happens if you find something unexpected?
It happens, especially in older homes. When it does, you get photos and a plan from us the day we find it, and the wall stays open until you know what is behind it.
