Forsyth County, GA
Cumming’s general contractor
Cumming is the center of Forsyth County and has grown enormously in the last two decades.
The houses in Cumming
Overwhelmingly newer construction. Basements framed but never finished are the defining opportunity here, along with builder-grade kitchens and baths in houses under twenty years old.

Forsyth grew fast and grew recently, so much of the work here is finishing space that was framed but never completed, or updating builder-grade finishes in houses under twenty years old.
We are based in Roswell, which puts Cumming comfortably inside our working radius. Cumming sits in Forsyth County, and the rest of that county is on the county page.
What we do in Cumming
Eight categories, forty-six services, all of it available here.

How we work
Before 2021, Igor Dubovoy worked for a company doing something like five hundred remodels a month. Twenty years in the trade had taught him what good work looks like, and that was not it. He started SSRGA to prove a smaller shop can outbuild a bigger one when it is not chasing throughput.
There is a ceiling on how many projects we take at once, and we hit it on purpose. Volume is what Igor left behind.
How a job actually runs
We walk the space with you
Igor comes out, looks at what is actually there, and talks through what you want. No sales pitch, no pressure to decide that day. You get a straight read on what the job involves and what it will take.
We open it up and deal with what we find
Demolition tells the truth about a house. Rot, bad framing, plumbing someone improvised in 1985. We show you what turns up and how we plan to handle it before we cover any of it back up.
We build it and keep you in the loop
You know who is coming and when. The site gets cleaned at the end of the day. If something changes, you hear it from us before you notice it yourself.

What moves the number on a job like this
You will not find a price list here. Without seeing your house, any figure we posted would be wrong for most people who read it. Instead, here is what pushes cost up or down, so you can weigh your options before the walkthrough.
The most expensive line in most remodels is relocation. Each fixture or outlet that changes position brings a plumber or electrician back in and means opening a wall, a floor or a ceiling to get there.
Further down the list are condition and materials. Of the two, condition matters more. A house that has been looked after gives us fewer surprises behind the walls, and that means a tighter schedule and a lower bill.
Seeing more of it
The photos on this page came from our own jobs, and so does everything in the gallery. Browse it by project type. You will find tear-off and site work in there too, the parts most contractors leave out.
Timeline and disruption
Remodeling is disruptive, and pretending otherwise helps nobody. What we can control is whether it is predictable.
You get a schedule with real dates, the same crew throughout, and a heads up when anything shifts. Materials are ordered ahead of demolition so waiting happens before your house is open rather than during.
The site gets swept at the end of each day and dust control goes up before the work starts, not after somebody complains.

What gets inspected
Anything structural, most mechanical work, and every addition. We pull the permits, schedule the inspections and are on site for them.
Contractors who work around permitting are avoiding scrutiny, and the scrutiny is the point. The details inspectors look hardest at are the ones that cause real failures.
It also protects you later. Unpermitted work surfaces at the worst possible moment, which is usually when you are selling or making a claim.
What it is like to have us here
Predictable hours, the same faces, and a site that gets cleaned before we leave. Floor protection and dust barriers go in before work starts.
You will know who is coming and roughly when. If a subcontractor is on site for a day, you will know that in advance too.
Questions get answered directly. There is no chain of communication to work through, because the person doing the work is the person you have been talking to since the walkthrough.
After we finish
The end of the job includes a walkthrough where we go over what was done and what it needs from you, which is usually not much.
The parts worth attention are the wet joints, the exterior drainage and anything that moves. Everything else is built to be left alone.
If something needs looking at later, call. Knowing what is behind the finish is worth something, and we do.
Where this is
Questions people ask
Will we be able to live in the house during the work?
Most families stay put during a one-room job, a bathroom or a kitchen say. When the project covers the whole house or adds major square footage, staying gets harder, and we will say so plainly before you commit.
How do we get started?
Most people start with a phone call to (678) 665-7771. Some prefer the contact page. Both get you a walkthrough at no cost, and a sales pitch is not part of it.
Who is actually on site?
Igor, along with the crew that started your job. He works on site instead of managing a dozen projects from a phone, which is the whole reason the company is kept small.
How long does a project like this take?
We will not give you a timeline over the phone, because the honest answer depends on what is behind the walls. Once we have walked the job, you get dates. A single bathroom tends to land in the few-weeks range, and full remodels take months.
What happens if you find something unexpected?
You find out that day. Old houses hide things, and when we open a wall and find one, we send pictures and tell you what we recommend before any work continues on it.
Do you handle permits?
Yes. You will not be asked to go down to the county office. When the work needs a permit, such as an addition, a structural change or most plumbing and electrical moves, we pull it and handle every inspection.
Let us come look at your Cumming project
Send a note through the contact page or call (678) 665-7771. Igor will look at the space, hear what you have in mind, and give you a plain answer on scope. If we are booked, we will say so up front. Taking on more than a crew can do well is exactly what went wrong at the company he left.
